The length of the warranty is determined by the type of material ordered. Refer to your invoice for your specific warranty period. Warranty coverage commences on the original date of dispatch to your delivery address. The warranty does not cover normal wear, weather soiling, stains from environmental pollution and/or standing water, cuts from sharp objects, neglect, accident or misuse. The boat cover, PWC cover or bimini top must be properly installed, utilized and maintained. If a defect is detected within 12 months of date of purchase, Stormcovers Australia Pty Ltd will repair or replace (at its discretion) the product / cover FREE of CHARGE provided the customer prepays freight to and from our factory. If a defect is detected after 12 months and up to 36 months from date of purchase for three-year warranties, and up to 60 months for 5 Year warranties Stormcovers Australia Pty Ltd will (at its discretion) repair the defect on a time and material cost basis or replace the product on a pro-rated basis, provided the customer prepays freight to and from our factory. Care & Maintenance Regular care and maintenance of your boat cover and bimini top will extend the life of these products and provide years of trouble-free service. It is important that you follow the care instructions with your cover if you do not have these pleae contact us. Your boat cover and bimini top are exposed to a harsh outdoor environment. Aside from a relentless beating of UV rays from the sun, your cover and top are exposed to rain, sleet, wind, humidity, road dirt from trailering, insects, ocean salt, bird droppings, animals/pets, pollen, leaves, sap, mold spores and a host of other damaging environmental pollutants. Regular exposure and cleaning can diminish the water repellency of certain cover fabrics over time. The water repellent finish used on most cover fabrics allows water to bead and run off similar to that of a waxed car. When water beading diminishes, we recommend the use of 303 High Tech Fabric Guard after a thorough cleaning to restore the water repellency of your cover. Allow your cover to dry thoroughly before folding for storage and always put your cover onto a clean dry vehicle. To keep your cover looking its best, regularly brush off any loose dirt with a soft brush and rinse with lukewarm water. To clean, a solution of lukewarm water and mild natural soap such as Ivory may be used. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. The use of detergent is not recommended as it may diminish the water repellent finish on certain fabrics and invite the growth of mildew. We also recommend the use of 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner to safely remove dirt and difficult stains.
